My wife and I have been Christians for a combined total of over 100 years. Both of us were converted to God by means of the living and powerful Word of God.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

“‘For all flesh is as grass; And all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever’.\u00a0 And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you”, 1 Peter 1:24,25.<\/span><\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

While it is true that we were both brought up in a Christian household and environment, this did not save us.\u00a0 We needed to have personal dealings with God though the Lord Jesus, the only mediator between God and men.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time”, 1 Timothy 2:5,6.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We found God to be true to His promise to be found of those who seek Him.\u00a0 The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes it, whoever they might be, and whatever they may have done.\u00a0 There is no-one too bad to be saved.<\/span><\/p>\n

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: For it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.\u00a0 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, The just shall live by faith'”, Romans 1:16,17.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We can honestly testify that despite our many shortcomings and failures, God has been faithful, and the Word of God has been a strength to our souls and a guide for our pathway through life.\u00a0 This is why the content of this website is entirely the exposition of Scripture.\u00a0 We know this is not fashionable, but it is God’s way to tell sinners the gospel, and to strengthen the faith and motivate the activity of those who believe in Him and His Son, Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: And let Him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.\u00a0 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord.\u00a0 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts”, Isaiah 55:6-9.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The explanations of Scripture that are offered to you on this website are entirely my effort, but my wife is sympathetic to the project, and believes what I believe.<\/span><\/p>\n
